but oh how I wish I was there... Alright, not really. Now that it has been more than 4 months since I updated this journal, I guess it is more than time too. There really hasn't been much happening here, just working a lot, I got another year older, Logan is now 3, and life with Paul isn't too bad *right* now. The only thing on my mind is how I feel like I'm getting no where with my life because my job is such a low paying screw off job and with the experience I have in other "fields" I can't get in to it and having the desire to go BACK to college and actually take it more than serious now. I'm just so thoughtful now, I just want to do something worth wild that allows me to be home MORE with Logan.

Honestly, it certainly feels like it. I haven't updated this in months and thats only because of working so darn much. I "casually" work almost 50 hours a week. It's nice on the paycheck but my body screams at me at night when I get home to relax. lol.

Logan is doing good. Almost 3 yrs old. He is all about his Christmas presents this time around. He got cars, cars and MORE cars. So guess what he's always playing with cars and if he's not doing that he's watching Cars. Gotta have his daily dose of Mater. *hehehehe*

Life with Paul is so BORING. I'm still ready to send him packing but until I have a car that is actually MINE, I can't. Of course, the parental unit (my Mom) doesn't quite seem to understand that I have shitty credit so I can't just run to the nearest car dealership and get a new vehicle. *ugh*

Anyways, hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Ok, so I've been working lots of hours for DHL. I like the job, i'm just starting to hate the hours. My shift starts at 7:15, I scan and load the truck I'm driving and by 8:15 we're on the road to deliver. Most of them *because they have worked there forever* know their route and are able to snap to it and get the job done in roughly 6 hours. I on the other hand, I'm still learning my route and thats causes me to be out delivering till after 5pm or later. What does that mean to anyone? If you have a child, like I do, you don't get to spend time with them after being gone ALL DAY.

With all of that said, as much as I like my job, I'm going to find something different because I have to be home at night to take care of Logan, its a must and if I'm the only one who will be working, something will have to give with my job. Plus, I don't want to be delivering in the snow. I thought the job was going to work out but its not. *hmph*

Could it really be... yes I think it is. I'm finally working again. Its not too bad of a job either, just delivering packages for DHL. Not too bad of hours either, usually out of work by 5:00pm every night therefore I have ALOT of hours on my weekly paycheck. Thats a big bonus, I get paid every week. I think I might be able to finally get out of debt! :-)

Now if I can just get the "self centered arrogant husband" to realize that his life has to work with my schedule then we might be alright. He's being a butthead because I work in the morning and he thinks when training is done I'll be on 2nd shift with little hours, etc... so he can go to school. Ummm NO.. I'm working full-time and thats FINAL!


*sigh* the joys of being married and having to support the family, etc.

Its been awhile since I've actually updated this thing. Let's see what's been going on? I have officially survived 1 month of working at the bank processing center. It is CRAZY busy but definitely makes the hours go by quick, especially when its so busy you don't get a chance to look at the clock. I've been doing a lot of "non incentive" jobs which means I don't get the extra cash bonus at the end of the month paycheck but that is about to change. I started my proof operator training on Thursday and hopefully in the next couple of weeks I'll be on a proof machine all the time, of course, Mondays and Fridays are exempt because of the overabundance of work. *sigh* Soon enough I won't have to worry about doing the other job because I'll be on Proof and want to do something else. Ha Ha Ha, not really but that does sound good.

Life in general is starting to get better, now that I'm working more than 15 hours a week and since I'm done with school.Although I didn't get my diploma in April like I should have,I am done with classes and now I'm just waiting for the academic office to re-convene after summer break to make the decision as to if they will grant me my diploma without coming back in the Fall or not. (I can't afford to go back, because of the amount of tuition and no financial aid).

The hyper 2 year old is doing good. Keeps me on my toes like always. Thankfully he's getting spoiled by Grandma and Papa this weekend, so I have a couple of days off from chasing him and getting up early and then working really really late.

for sure that I have gotten the 2nd shift job I interviewed for last night. The supervisor told me that I had it before I interviewed but she will have Human Resources call and officially offer me the position. I'm so geeked because I haven't worked a steady job since May. I didn't work at all this month and its been one long month, feels like July already!
Now that I will be working FINALLY, that means a lot of changes are going to happen and that means my hubby is going to have to work with me on the situation and if he doesn't like it, I'm gonna be one pissed wifey/momma.



Updated----- WOOT WOOT.. I got the job. I have 2 weeks to get my life in order before training starts. lol.

we didn't get that other apartment.. but something good has come about in the past couple of days or so. I have 2 interviews on Tuesday. 1 for a part-time receptionist position and then later that night, interview with one of the banks here for a proof operator. I'm hoping I get the proof op position because then we can move to another part of town... which brings me to this... I stopped by one of the other apartments that are managed by the same company we are currently renting from. We can move there in 2 weeks and not have to sign new lease papers or anything. WOO HOO. The apartments there are MUCH nicer and its closer to everything in this town and yeah.... I hope I get the 2nd job so we can move SOON.
